Businessman and philanthropist Sir Wicknell Chivhayo has gifted a total of $110,000 to Scotland FC following their impressive 5-2 triumph over FC Platinum in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League. Chivhayo, who has become known for his generous support of local football, announced the reward on social media, $100,000 for the players and $10,000 for head coach Tonderai Ndiraya.“I’m so proud of you… I’m still in shock you defeated Norman Mapeza,” he wrote, applauding the team’s performance.

The result marked a significant moment in the league, as both teams came into the match with high expectations. Scotland FC capitalized on their chances, while FC Platinum will look to regroup in their upcoming fixtures.

The Emirates FA Cup fifth round draw has been made for the 2025-26 season, with the eight ties to be scheduled for the weekend of 7-8 March 2026.

Taking place ahead of Monday evening’s tie between Macclesfield and Brentford, the draw was made by Joe Cole and Karen Carney as clubs look to seal a place in the quarter-final.

Winning clubs in the fifth round will receive £238,500 from the competition prize fund for the 2025-26 season.

The final schedule for the fifth round will be confirmed in due course, following talks with clubs, broadcast partners and local authorities.
