Scottland FC, the debutants in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, have clinched the 2025 championship title in spectacular fashion. The newly promoted side sealed their triumph with a commanding 5–1 victory over relegated Kwekwe United on Sunday, securing the league with two games to spare.

Their closest rivals, Simba Bhora, dropped crucial points after a 1–1 draw against Highlanders on Saturday, leaving Scottland FC uncatchable at the top of the table. The win not only marks a historic milestone for the club but also for coach Tonderai Ndiraya and captain Walter Musona, who have now won the league title two years in a row—this time with Scottland FC, having lifted the trophy last season with Simba Bhora.

The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League officially congratulated the new champions, declaring, “Champions of Zimbabwe! ⚽️🏆 Congratulations to Scottland FC, the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League winners!”

Scottland FC’s meteoric rise and dominant performance have made them the story of the season, proving that financial resources, ambition, talent, and strategic leadership can rewrite the script in Zimbabwean football.
