Excitement is building ahead of Morocco’s World Cup qualifying clash with Niger, set for September 5 at 8:00 p.m. at Rabat’s Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex. The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) revealed on Tuesday that 47,555 tickets had already been sold by midday, along with 62 private skyboxes—just hours after ticket sales opened.

According to the FRMF, the ticket breakdown includes 3,210 for Category 1, 13,312 for Category 2, and 28,136 for Category 3. Additionally, 1,863 hospitality tickets were purchased, along with 885 VIP seats and 149 VVIP seats.

The federation commended fans for their enthusiastic response and urged continued purchases through official channels, while emphasizing the importance of adhering to organizational protocols to ensure a smooth matchday experience.

Morocco currently leads Group E with 15 points from five wins, ahead of Tanzania (9 points), Zambia (6 points), and Niger (6 points). Nine African nations will earn direct qualification to the 2026 World Cup, with one more team advancing to the FIFA playoff tournament.

Taking place ahead of Monday evening’s tie between Macclesfield and Brentford, the draw was made by Joe Cole and Karen Carney as clubs look to seal a place in the quarter-final.

Winning clubs in the fifth round will receive £238,500 from the competition prize fund for the 2025-26 season.
