Bulawayo Giants Highlanders have promised to come back stronger after the two week Premier League break following a 1-0 defeat against FC Platinum on Saturday.
By SportBrief Reporter
As the local Premier Soccer League takes a two week mid-season breather, one particular club is already promising to come back a refreshed side.
And that club is the Bulawayo Giants Highlanders.
Bosso did not have a good last match before the break, as they suffered an agonising 1-0 defeat to the Premier League log leaders FC Platinum, conceding in the 90th minute in that encounter.
That defeat left the boys in black and white trailing the runaway leaders FC Platinum by a staggering 15 points.
However, the club has chosen to put that loss behind them and focus on the future with the club sending a gallant message to their fans on their twitter account.
We take a 2 weeks season break, this is not the way we would have loved to end our first half of the season, but we will bounce back because we are Highlanders! 17 more matches to go, 51 more points up for grabs!@NetOneCellular @ChronicleZim @SportsWritersZW @OneMoneyZw

Although it remains to be seen whether the club will truly come back a more determined side, Bosso’s statement will surely ruffle a few feathers on some of their premier league rivals.
The club is currently on 6th position in the Premier League but is tied on 29 points with Caps United and Triangle who are placed fourth and fifth respectively after having played 17 games.
