PSL Punishes ZPC

ZPC Kariba could not escape the wrath of the long arm of the law after losing three points for using an ineligible player on their match against Bulawayo City.

In a match played in May this year, ZPC Kariba fielded Munyaradzi Kunyarimwe, a player who was suspended for accumulating three yellow cards.

The Electricians has since been docked of 3 points to drop to 19 and 10th on the log.

And Dynamos football club are now on position 9 with 20 points.

The local premier league’s governing body, PSL confirmed the latest developments in a statement released to the media.

“PSL has deduced 3 points from ZPC Kariba FC following their use of a suspended player Munyaradzi Kunyarimwe in their match against Bulawayo City FC on Sunday 27 May 2018 at Nyamhunga stadium. This is in line with Order 36.1.4 of the PSL Rules and Regulations,” read the statement.
