CAPS Property Attached over $13k Debt

Caps United Football Club’s only team bus will go under the hammer to recover part of a $13 000 debt owed to former Communications Officer Joyce Kapota.

By SportBrief Reporter

Joyce Kapota, successfully obtained a writ of execution following the registration of her arbitral award as a court order in March this year.

According to reports, the club only managed to pay $3,000 out of $13,000 since March.

Kapota was granted permission to attach property by the Sherrif to recover the debt.

And reliable sources said the club’s office had no property worth the amount owed besides the bus, which apparently is the only team bus at the moment.

The relationship between Kapota and Caps United is said to have deteriorated sometime in 2014 after former’s employment contract was terminated on notice and she then approached the Labour Court for recourse.

Meanwhile, Caps United will host Bulawayo City at the National Sports Stadium where they are expected to quickly forget their previous loss against Mutare City Rovers at the same venue.
