$1 to watch AWCON qualifier on Sunday

The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has announced $1 as the minimum gate charge for the 2nd leg of the Africa Women Cup of Nations qualifier between the Mighty Warriors and Shepolopolo of Zambia at Rufaro Stadium on 10 June.

The first leg which was played in Lusaka on Wednesday saw the Mighty WARRIORS winning by a goal to nil through Rutendo Makore in the 18th minute.

Rutendo, who missed the first round of qualifiers against Namibia through injury, registered her presence by scoring the crucial away goal.

The Mighty Warriors will be looking to maintain their winning start to the AWCON qualifiers, having knocked Namibia out on a 4-0 aggregate in the first round.

The winner will join hosts Ghana and six other nations in the finals of the tournament to be played from 17 November to 1 December 2018.
