It appears to be a case of different coach, same dismal results for Dynamos as they succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at the expense of visitors FC Platinum in a premier league encounter played on Sunday afternoon.

Going into the match, the Glamour Boys were looking to build on their 1-0 win over Bulawayo Chiefs with their new coach Biggie Zuze after Lloyd Mutasa had been fired in the wake of the club’s poor start to the Premier League campaign.

However, they faced an uphill task of upsetting an FC Platinum who had only lost once this season. That task was quickly made harder after just five minutes courtesy of some sloppy defending that put through Chinyengetere who put the visitors ahead.

After Mkokheli spectacularly rescued a ball that was heading out for a goal kick, the Dynamos defence was caught napping as they had anticipated that it would go out, allowing Chinyengetere to dribble past Tigere and find the bottom corner.

From that point onwards, it was all Platinum as the hosts weathered wave after wave of the visitors attack.

And with 16 minutes on the clock, Chinyengetere struck again with a brilliant shot for the visitors to double his tally as well as that of his side. Dynamos continued to be outplayed by the visitors with the Platinum boys managing the game well as they neutralised the Glamour Boys’ attack in the rest of the first half.

In the second half, the hosts appeared to up the ante, creating a hosts of chances but for all their effort their forwards remained somewhat lethargic in the face of goal.

There was a penalty appeal in the 75th minute as Dynamos fans cried for a penalty after Manuvire went down under a challenge but the referee waved away the claims much to the dismay of the home crowd.

FC Platinum would eventually hold out for a win which puts them within three points of leaders Ngezi Platinum while Dynamos sit 11th on the log.
