Real Madrid will be looking to make history by becoming the first team to retain the Uefa title three times but Bayern will provide a stern test as they also aim to assert themselves as one of the best teams in Europe, having last tasted UCL glory in the 2012-2013 season.
As for Liverpool, they will be hoping to re-establish their position among Europe’s elite, having fallen on the way-side since 2005 when they last lifted the prestigious trophy.
However, Roma, are not to be counted out as they have proved they have what it takes to perform on the grand stage and outdo stronger opposition.
