The match was evenly balanced overally with both teams creating chances but ultimately failing to make their chances count.
In the first half, Ngezi Platinum were more offensive than Chapungu as they created two clear chances with only the keeper to beat in the 15th minute and 33rd minute but they couldn’t find the back of the net with Walter Mukanga hiting the woodwork at one point.
Chapungu grew into the match as the game went on, with Sahondo the most outstanding player for the club and gave a lot of problems for Ngezi defense.
In the second half, new signing young 17 years Abraham ‘master’ Chaodza came in for Walter Mukanga and showed why Ngezi signed him.
He was outstanding in the midfield, dictating play and launching attacks for his side.
However, with a goal evading both sides, they eventually had to settle for a goal-less draw.
