Ahead of an international 4 team tournament to be staged in Zambia, ZIFA has called up six local-based players for National Duty.

The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has called up a total of six players based in the Premier Soccer League, as the nation prepares to take part in a friendly football tournament with three other countries.
The tournament is set to be held in Zambia.
“The Zimbabwe Football Association sincerely requests your office and person to facilitate the release of above mentioned players selected to partake in a four team tournament to be played in Zambia from 21 to 24 March 2018,” read part of the circular sent to PSL clubs of the players called for national duty.
Below are the players called:
Liberty Chakoroma (Ngezi)
Praise Tonha ( Caps United)
Jimmy Dzingai ( Yadah)
Peter Muduwa (Highlanders)
Takabva Mawaya (Highlanders)
Devine Lunga (Chicken Inn)
Other teams that will participate in the tournament are South Africa, Angola and hosts Zambia.
Sunday Chidzambwa will head the coaching side whilst Wellington Mpandare retains his role as the team manager.
