The Green After uniting with some of their former players, CAPS United are still active on the transfer market as they are on the verge of roping in the highly rated midfielder into their ranks.

In January, there were reports that Milton Ncube was on the Makepekepe radar but the deal collapsed while in its infancy as the player extended his contract with Howmine.

Former Highlanders and Howmine star Milton Ncube is likely to wear the green and white jersey this season after he was rendered clubless when Howmine withdrew from top flight football.

“The technical team already agreed verbal terms with Milito (Ncube) and he was training with us today at Luveve stadium ahead of tomorrow’s encounter,” said a source privy to the developments.

According to the source, the player will travel to Harare on Monday where he is expected to sign a contract with Makepekepe.

United are also set to rope in Denver Mukamba and Rodrick Mutuma.

The Premier Soccer League will kick start on March 17 2018.
