After receiving their reward for participating in the prestigious CAF Champions League 2017 Edition, CAPS United will not enjoy the full amount as the local soccer mother body, ZIFA, is asking for $55 000 from the proceeds.

After receiving a balance of $162 865.00 from CAF, the Philip Chiyangwa led institution is knocking on the Makepekepe door asking for their 10% entitled to them from the total sum of $550 000.
ZIFA has already written a letter to the Farai Jere owned club.
“We are reliably informed that on 12th December 2017 CAF disbursed the last trunch of the 2017 Champion League proceeds and that the club received $162 865.00 after deduction of amounts due to CAf.
Accordingly we kindly request you to make an immediate payment to the Association of $55 000.00 being 10% of gross proceeds of $550 000.00 as agreed.
The Association has urgent critical financial commitments to meet,”read the letter.
