Hon. Kazembe Kazembe has been appointed to the highest office in the local sporting fraternity in the new cabinet set up announced on Thursday.

The Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda announced the recent Ministerial appointments by the new President, Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa on Tuesday evening.
Interestingly, for those of us in the world of sport, the vacant Ministry of Sport, Arts and Recreation post has been filled by Kazembe Kazembe.
Kazembe will assume responsibility for the sector after the former occupant of the post Hon. Makhosini Hlongwane was expelled from the ruling party barely two weeks ago.
It remains to be seen how well the new minister will fare, given the rampant pace at which his predecessor had been moving after having implemented a raft of measures meant to improve the welfare of Sport Associations in the country.
