Yadah FC came from a goal down to beat Bulawayo giants 2-1 in a Castle Lager PSL encounter played on Sunday, a result which confirmed their continued presence in the league next season.

Playing hosts to Highlanders FC, Magaya’s side got off to a bad side as they were behind within 25 minutes of play, with their own player Jimmy Dzingai deflecting Ralph Matema’s shot in to the back of the net.

The hosts however, regrouped and pushed for an equalizer and were almost rewarded when the referee pointed to the spot to grant them a penalty 9 minutes later but Bosso’s number one Ariel Sibanda thwarted Witness Savanhu’s somewhat unconvincing effort.

Yadah were seemingly undeterred and just before half time, their forward Dzingai equalised to give the host crowd something to cheer about going into the break.

Whatever Yadah’s coach may have said to his players appeared to have done the trick as they came out of the blocks all fired up in the second half. It took them just two minutes for Rodrick Mutuma to put the home side in the led for the first time in the match.

The visitors failed to find an equalizer, with the match eventually ending 2-1 much to the delight of the home fans.
