The Caps United legend has this weekend promised to hand over a modest reward to the on-fire Caps United striker Dominic Chungwa who currently leads the PSL goal-scoring charts with 16 goals so far.

Caps United’s star striker Dominic Chungwa has been prolific in front of goal this season, with the forward having accumulated a total of 16 goals so far.
Chungwa’s form has apparently not gone unnoticed, with Caps United legend Alois Bunjira promising to reward the striker with a present over the weekend.
“Well done and Congratulations to Dominic Chungwa for scoring 16 goals thus far. Remember I promised a pair of soccer boots and training kit to the top scorer in Zimbabwe who scored more than 15 goals. Chungwa has laid claim to the prize,” said Bunjira.
“Will be handing over his prize to him hopefully this weekend. I hope he goes on to win the top gong. Well done my Striker!”
This is not the first time the former Warriors forward has awarded a football player for an outstanding achievement. Less than two weeks ago, he presented a similar package (soccer boots and a training kit) to Mighty Warriors forward Rutendo Makore as she helped the Zimbabwe women’s football team reach the COSAF Cup final in Bulawayo where they eventually lost out to South Africa.
Although financial constraints may be limiting Bunjira from presenting a bigger award, one thing for sure is that the man has an immeasurable passion for local football that deserves to be applauded.
