Harare City through to African Safari

The City Fathers are the 2017 Chibuku Super Cup winners after dismissing Kelvin Kaindu’s by three goal to one HowMine to earn a ticket to the continental games.

Despite being threatened by the mucky waters of relegation in the top flight league, Harare City have everything to smile for after they received a $75 000 worthy cheque from Delta Beverages under the Chibuku Super brand for winning the Chibuku Super r Cup.

The hosts opened the scoring account through Edwin  Madananga in the 66th minute before William Manondo grabbed a quick and successive brace in the  73rd and 74th minute respectively.

How Mine got their face saver through Peter Rio Moyo in the 85th minute.

The losing finalists walked away $50 000 richer.

Harare City will play against the winners of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, another Delta sponsored initiative, in a Chibuku Challenge Cup, bringing to 3 the number of Delta Beverages bankrolled competitions in the country.
