Zim A in Dubai for two week tour

The Chevrons second string team has reportedly touched down in Dubai for a five one-day match series against the United Arab Emirates.

The Zimbabwe A cricket team has landed in Dubai where they are scheduled to play a five one-day international match series against the United Arab Emirates.

The series is scheduled to start on Thursday with Chamunorwa Chibaba set to captain the Zimbabwe cricket team. Familiar first team faces in Peter Joseph Moor and Tendai Chisoro have been included in the squad, with the pair having also featured in the Chevrons two-test series against West Indies last week.

The team will play four of the matches at the ICC Academy while the remaining game will be played at the Dubai International Stadium.

The Zimbabwe Cricket Association has been stepping up efforts to get the Zimbabwe A team exposed to the international scene, having recently hosted the Netherlands cricket team last month.

Ryan Burl, Brian Chari, Chamunorwa Chibhabha (Captain), Tendai Chisoro, Innocent Kaia, Kevin Kasuza, Neville Madziva, Timycen Maruma, Wellignton Masakadza, William Mashinge, Prince Masvaure, Brandon Mavita, Peter Joseph Moor (Wicket-keeper), Tarisai Musakanda, Richard Ngarava.
