Caps United defender Devon Chafa has spurred on the Green Machine through his Facebook account with the match between his team and the Glamour Boys, Dynamos FC, less than 48 hours away.
The Harare Giants renew their rivalry on Sunday at the National Sports Stadium in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Matchday 24 encounter.
Ahead of the match, Chafa has declared that the reigning premier league champions are not ready to relinquish the title just yet with some having begun to write them off in the title race after a string of poor events left them sitting in the bottom half of the log.
“It will be time to separate boys from men, we are champions, we won’t give up easily rise Makepekepe rise,” wrote the defender on his Facebook wall.
Chafa’s words will no doubt elevate the level of anticipation ahead of the crunch encounter. Caps United will be hoping to snatch a victory as they aim to revive their premier league campaign once more with the champions siting in 10th place, while the 3rd placed Glamour Boys will be looking to underline their title credentials.
However the result goes, the match promises to be an exciting encounter as there is certainly no love lost between the two teams whose rivalry is well documented throughout the premier league history.
