CAPS United Hike Gate Charges

The 79th edition of the Harare Derby which is scheduled for this Sunday and the high profile match will see football lovers having to pay  slightly more than the usual charges to watch the  likely thrilling encounter at the giant stadium.

BY SPORTBRIEF REPORTER

$5 has been pegged for the cheapest ticket and the VIP section will attract a $10 gate charge while the blue section will be going for a whooping $20.

CAPS United will however be without the services of forward Dominic Chungwa who is suspended for the match for accumulating 3 yellow cards. Chungwa has been enjoying top form of late and scored 5 goals in 4 matches to catapult himself in the Golden Boot race despite the race being tightly contested.

Defensive pillar Justice Jangano will also miss the derby after receiving a red card for a second bookable offence against Black Rhinos a week ago.

Makepekepe will also be without Ronald Pfumbidzai after the player signed a three year deal with South Africa’s Bloemfontein Celtic on Monday.

Following a romantic CAF Champions League, CAPS United also lost striker Abbas Amidu and midfielder Ronald Chitiyo to Saudi Arabia and Tunisia respectively.
