After splashing over £200 million so far in this transfer window alone, it appears the Citizens are not quite done yet with details emerging of an impending world record bid from the Noisy Neighbors.

Manchester City are in advanced talks to sign Kylian Mbappe from Monaco in a deal which would smash the world transfer record, SportBrief has learned.
Word coming out of France is that the Citizens are waiting for a response from Monaco and are wary of competition from Real Madrid for the Frenchman as they also believe Real Madrid want to sell Gareth Bale to Manchester United to make their own move.
The La Liga giants are also in the race to sign the 18-year-old but senior City decision makers have been in contact with their Monaco counterparts over the past 24 hours and are pushing to reach a speedy resolution.
The Blues have already made a formal approach and are now awaiting a response from Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev.
Monaco officials have made it clear that it would take a record-breaking mega money fee to prize their star forward Mbappe, meaning City, Madrid and any other suitors would have to pay more than £150 million.
Though it is widely believed that Mbappe is also open to moving to the Santiago Bernabeu, with fellow compatriot Zinedine Zidane said to be a key factor, Pep Guardiola has reportedly spoken personally with the teenager in a bid to convince him to move to Manchester.
Madrid, having failed to recoup a fee for James Rodriguez who joined Bayern Munich on loan, have raised over £80m in the last week by selling Alvaro Morata to Chelsea and Danilo to City and are reportedly willing to also part ways with Bale to further finance the deal.
