In a dramatic turn of events at the Green Machine, the much touted foreign players will no longer wear the famous green and white jersey amid revelations the players failed medical tests on Wednesday, Sportbrief can exclusively reveal.

According to a medical report in possession of Sportbrief, the duo have permanent leg injuries and roping them in would be a liability for the club.
Despite impressing the Caps United technical team, Ghanaian Richard Addai and Zambian Felix Sunzu could not negotiate through the fitness and medical hurdles. A highly placed source within the Makepekepe ranks confirmed the development.
“Addai and Sunzu failed their medicals, hence they will not be joining us. We are working on returning them to their country soon,”said the source.
Although the two failed the medical tests, another foreigner, Abasirim Chidiebere has reportedly passed his medicals and is expected to be available for selection after permit processing.
The latest developments come hard on the heels of yet another miserable show from the reigning champions.
