In a bid to assemble a formidable side, CAPS United have brought in 3 foreign players from West African nations and are currently going through their paces with CAPS United and head coach Lloyd Chitembwe said the trio will be available after the assessment but may not play in the upcoming fixture against USM Alger of Algeria.

Makepekepe will on Wednesday host the Algerians at the giant National Sports Stadium after losing 2-0 to Zamalek a few days ago in Alexandria.
Chitembwe however ruled the foreign trio out of the match.
“There is nothing to announce as of yet. The boys are still under assessment and in due time, we will notify our position,: he said.
Speaking at the sidelines of the training session on Sunday afternoon, Chitembwe attributed the loss in Egypt to lack of experience.
“It is now water under the bridge but we have been working on to rectify the mistakes. Our major setback was because the majority of our current players have no experience on such big stages and but experience is something that is gained. I am sure they (the boys) have now acquired it,” he added.
