CAPS United stars Edmore Sibanda, Leonard Tsipa, Hardlife Zvirekwi and Ronald Chitiyo will likely return to the starting 11 for the home game against Tsholotsho on Sunday.
Sibanda missed out on the league and Independence Cup fixtures where second choice Jorum Muchambo stood in his place.
Tsipa will sure be a boost for the CAPS attack after an underwhelming performance from Dominic Chungwa in his absence.
Midfielder Chitiyo and defender Zvirekwi also return after a break.
CAPS coach Lloyd Chitembwe confirmed the return to the squad of some of his key men but says there is no guarantee in the involvement on Sunday.
“Everyone is fit and we are all ready to participate on Sunday.
“That includes Edmore Sibanda but we are yet to make a decision on who plays or not,” he said.
Chitembwe added his team will not be complacent and will not consider their league double over Sunday’s opponents last season.
“All the teams are never easy. We do not expect easy games in the Premiership.
“Last year we won home and away but it wasn’t easy, there are no easy games
Makepekepe lost at the National Sports Stadium to Dynamos in the Uhuru cup semis, their first defeat at the giant stadium in a while.
However, Chitembwe says they are not worried about the records.
“It’s not about records, this is a new game so we will try to do the best that we can to get the win that we cherish.
“We haven’t conceded a defeat so far, our chances are as good as any other team so we are happy with the situation,” he said. – H-METRO
