The Ngezi Platinum stars winger, is looking to impress Maritzburg United coach Fadlu Davids who is targeting to sharpen his attack-force early next year.
“That’s my wish to play at a better level if everything goes well,” Nguluve told Kick Off.com
Finding out about trials, there was contact made (by agent Shane Costa) but me, I’m just a player. I was informed to go and do the job on the field of play.
“Having said that, it will really be a dream for me to play in the PSL because I think for now every player in Zimbabwe wishes to play in South Africa. There are better facilities, it’s more professional and I think it will be nice to play in the PSL.
“Back home, the PSL of course has a huge following based on what I mentioned above and it is a stepping stone because the league in Zimbabwe is not at the same level as it is here.”
The “Team Of Choice” is also base to other two Zimbabwean internationals in Blessing Moyo and Evans Rusike whom Nguluve admitted have helped him a lot to settle at the club.
“Those two guys have played a key role so far because they are from my country, so they have been encouraging me that I have to do this,” he adds of the Maritzburg pair.
“They are players who have been here for some time and they know how things are done. They have been helping me to do this and so I have settled well. But I’m not so sure how long I’m going to be here for.”
The 20 year old Zimbabwean winger has been instrumental in Ngezi Platinum Stars F.C’ s success in qualifying for their maiden continental competition – The CAF Confederation’s Cup 2017, scoring five goals for the Ngezi based side.
Nguluve has also attracted interest from a Danish club that is believed to be in-line for his signature.
