CAPS United 90 Minutes Away From African Safari – Do Or Die

The Premier Soccer League curtain will finally come down this Saturday, with the championship race only confined to CAPS United and FC Platinum, with Bosso out of the race on the third place and Dembare on the forth.

Log leaders CAPS United who took their points tally to 60 on Sunday after defeating Ngezi Platinum will take on Chapungu United on Saturday at Ascot Stadium in a game the former can not afford to lose if they are to end an eleven year championship barrenness.

On the contrary, title chasing FC Platinum will be hoping that the log leaders will falter while they collect maximum points from away from home to relegation threatened Tsholotsho FC.

Interestingly, Tsholotsho and Mutare City are joint on the 15th position, with the later inferior on goal difference, meaning at all cost, the Matebeleland based side would want to avoid the chop.

It is however still to be seen whether the Premier Soccer League will stick to the initial 2 team relegation resolution or  they will adhere to ZIFA’s 4.

FC Platinum trail log leaders by two points.

The fixtures are as follows:

Bulawayo City v How Mine (Barbourfields) Live on Supersport

Harare City v Triangle (Rufaro)

Dynamos v Chicken Inn (Rufaro)

Highlanders v Hwange (Barboufields)

Chapungu v CAPS United (Ascot) Live on Supersport

Tsholotsho v FC Platinum (Luveve)

Ngezi Platinum v Mutare City (Baobab)

Borders Strikers v ZPC Kariba (Dulivhadzimu)
