Mutare City Rovers, another relegation bound struggling team managed to hold Howmine FC to a goalless draw in Bulawayo whilst Triangle United, under the tutelage of David Mandigora, succumbed to a 1-0 defeat at Nyamhunga stadium, home to ZPC Kariba.

 

At Ascot stadium Erol Akbay guided his lads to yet another set of maximum points to keep the title hopes alive by a slender 1-0 win against Chapungu United.

 

Bosso scored in the 88th minute through Prince Dube and the goal was enough to keep Amatengwane within the touching distance with the log leaders FC Platinum.

 

Highlanders now trial by a single point, but Makepekepe have been presented with a golden chance to go top when they face log anchors Border Strikers on Sunday at Dulibadzimu stadium
