RELEGATION favorites, Border Strikers who appointed Luke Masomere last week to try and rescue the Beitbridge based side from the dark forces of relegation were welcomed with a baptism of fire by Moses Chunga at Rufaro stadium on Friday to bow out of the prestigious Chibuku Super Cup.

On his debut, Masomere succumbed to a 4 goal margin, with a replying formula proving to be elusive.
Harare City are the holders of the Chibuku Super Cup as they stormed to the African Safari last year under the guidance of Taurai Mangwiro, who is now plying his trade as a Technical Director at ZIFA.
Luke Masomere took over from Malunga who had presided over the team after he was thrown into the deep end following the sacking of former coach Saul Chaminuka in June this year.
Harare city opened the scoring account in the first half through Chipangura and the score line stood upto half time.
Former Dynamos midfielder, Ronald Chitiyo doubled the lead giving the hosts an insurance goal before Madhananga put the score line beyond the reach of out of sorts Luke Masomere.
To put the icing on the already yummy cake, Manondo registered his name on the score sheet making it 4 for the Moses Chunga led side.
