ZIMBABWE Netball Association league side Glow Petroleum queens moved to within a point of log leaders City of Harare Queens on the Netball Super League (NSL) when they drew with ZDF Queens in the capital, ZBC has reported.
According to the report, Glow petroleum moved one place up the ladder from position three to position two on the NSL following their 38-all draw against ZDF Queens in a closely contested encounter at the Police grounds on Saturday.
Glow Petroleum produced a spirited performance to come back from behind and claim a point which propelled them to second position just a point behind log leaders Harare City Queens.
In other matches played on Saturday, Morris Depot lost 29-45 to City of Mutare Queens in their first match of the two legged fixture before dismissing Black Rhinos Queens in their last game of the day.
Mutare City Queens beat basement side Ruwa Queens 41-25 at Sakubva Netball Courts, a result that placed them on position seven with twenty-one points from the twenty matches they have played so far.
