As reported earlier by this publication that indeed a nasty relationship had ensued between the player and the coach, it has finally come to light that Manuvire has left Harare City.
As a footballer, his life hinges and revolves around game time and contrary to that, Moses Chunga relegated Manuvire not to the bench but to the terraces, despite the later being a first jersey commander during the Taurai Mangwiro era.
Raphael Manuvire has trained with new boys Ngezi Platinum yesterday.
Although no official comment could be obtained neither from Harare City nor Ngezi, a reliable and close source privy to the ongoings opened up to this publication about the latest developments.
“He (Raphael) trained with Ngezi Platinum yesterday (Sunday) and he was given his transfer clearance form by his former club (City),” said the source.
It is not yet clear Manuvire bought himself out of the contract, since he was paid his sign on fee in full, or the interested club did.
