Mighty Warriors Troop In Today

Mighty Warriors coach Shadreck Mlauzi has called into camp 25 players to the Zimbabwe senior women national team camp to commence preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympic games slated for August in Brazil.

The team is expected to report for camp today.

The Zimbabwe ladies team has already been accredited while the parallel registration with the world football governing body FIFA is ongoing.

Zimbabwe Olympic Committee chief executive officer, Anna Muguni allayed fears surrounding the Mighty Warriors participation at the world’s greatest sporting showpiece saying while there had been challenges, deadlines had been met and work is still in progress to ensure the team will participate at the games.

The Mighty Warriors have been forced to make do with shoddy preparations and no meaningful preparatory friendly matches have been played.
