The talented goalkeeper is reported to have followed former Bosso coach Kelvin Kaindu at ” Chikurupati” as How Mine is fondly known by a legion of its supporters.
Also reported to be at How Mine is striker Gabriel Nyoni but investigations by Sportbrief indicates that he is contracted to the popular Bulawayo giants.
” Surprisingly I read that in the media that i have joined How Mine but I am still here where my heart belongs,” said Nyoni.
An official at Bosso who declined to be named refutes the media stories and has confirmed that both Nyoni( Gabriel) and Sibanda (Ariel)are still at Highlanders FC.
” Those are just rumours as both players extended their contracts at the beginning of the year, added the Bosso official.
Meanwhile, Highlanders are busy preparing their 90th anniversary celebrations and will play cricket franchise side Matabeleland Tuskers in a T20 encounter at Queens Sports Club this afternoon.
Tomorrow at the same venue both teams will play a football match that is expected to bring goals galore.
