Zimbabwean international, Tinotenda Kadewere, continues to make his presence felt at Swedish topflight side, Djurgadens, and was on target in his team’s 3-2 defeat at the hands of Shanghai Sipg in a friendly encounter on Saturday.
Djurgadens took an early lead courtesy of Seon Min Moon in the 20th minute before Kadewere doubled the lead in the 40th minute.
Djurgadens however let slip their 2-nil lead as Shanghai bounced back to win the contest 3-2.
Kadewere will however be satisfied to be showing good form during the pre-season period as he hopes to feature prominently in the coming season.
Another Zimbabwean top striker for his team is Khama Billiat who helped Mamelodi Sundowns go top of the ABSA Premiership with a goal in the Brazilians’ 2-1 win over University of Pretoria.
