Hardlife Zvirekwi, Justice Jangano. (both from Caps united) and Ronald Chitiyo (Dynamos) were weeded out of the camp after they reported for duty yesterday morning and were duly sent back home by the Warriors technical team.
CAPS United reliable defender, Stephen Makatuka, has since been called in to replace Justice Jangano, and Knox Mutizwa replaced Zvirekwi. No replacement was made on Chitiyo as the Warriors technical team indicated that they had enough players in the camp who can play as Central Midfielders.
“We called them (Chitiyo and Zvirekwi) for the Comoros game and they were the last to report for duty. They did the same again when we called them for the Afcon tie (against Guinea) and we felt their attitude is negative and it could rub off onto the younger players, so they should not be part of the set up until they want to play for the national team,” Pasuwa lamented.
