Zimbabwean international Matthew Rusike has terminated his contract with Portuguese side Nacional and instead signed for Swedish side Halmstads BK.
It is still unclear why Rusike made the switch bu the Swedish side have announced signing the former Kaizer Chiefs striker.
The 25-year-old striker has reportedly signed an 18-month contract with the side.
It is not clear at this stage as to why Rusike and Nacional parted ways. The Zimbabwean striker was on a two-year contract at the Portuguese side.
Halmstads have since confirmed rough their official Twitter account that Rusike has signed for the club.
Rusike left the ABSA Premiership side after his contract ended and did not take up the option to renew it.
Halmstads Bollklubb or simple HBK played in the Swedish top flight and have won 4 national championship titles and 1 national cup title.They finished the last season in 10th place and are currently in 12th place after 16 games in the current season.
Rusike will join fellow Zimbabwean international Nyasha Mushekwi who has had a great start with Djurgarden.
